I've just watched no more than 10 minutes of a live House of Commons debate on BBC2, and, although asked about a number of policies, I couldn't actually tell you what Mr. Brown is actually doing.

When asked about a surplus in School Budget, he said 5 times that they were "undertaking a consultation" which would finish on Friday. For once Mr. Cameron actually looked strong in the prosecution.

Then he was talking about being green. He said that the government was "committed to the targets set out by the EU", and that they would be "undertaking a consultation to see what is a viable target".

So normal service then, n decisive action!

Once again, a pithy & erudite comment. When we finally see the back of this numb worn-out 'New Labour Project' one of its legacies will be its belief that motion equals progress. It doesn't.
